choline salicylate (Cholini salicylas)

Indications:

Action OTINUM (choline salycylate) Ear Drops: Otitis, Pain, Inflammation, Ear Infection:

The drug is in the form of drops intended for topical use. Due to the content of choline salicylate, it has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It works by retaining prostaglandin cyclooxygenase, which results in reduced synthesis and release of prostaglandins. The drug also blocks the synthesis of thromboxane and prostacyclin. Thanks to the glycerin contained in the preparation, it reduces wax hardness, which definitely facilitates its elimination. After topical application, the drug has no systemic effect.

Contraindications:
- allergic to the constituent substances of the preparation
- perforation of the tympanic membrane.

Dosage OTINUM (choline salycylate) Ear Drops: Otitis, Pain, Inflammation, Ear Infection:

Apply topically to adults. In the presence of otitis media, eardrum and external auditory canal, it is usually recommended to use 3-4 drops for the external auditory canal x 3-4 / 24h. To soften hardened earwax before removing it from the ear, 3-4 drops are usually applied to the external auditory canal x 2/24 for 4 days.
