Eczema, dermatitis, SanaCutan ® Base Cream
Corticoid-free cream for use as part of an interval treatment for skin diseases that are treated with corticoid-containing ointments or creams, such as. E.g. eczema and dermatitis. The base cream is particularly suitable for the treatment of acute weeping skin diseases. The ingredients cetylstearyl alcohol, potassium sorbate and sorbic acid contained in the base cream can cause localized skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis).

- The preparation is a medicine for use on the skin. It is a corticoid-free cream base for use as part of an interval treatment for skin diseases that are treated with corticoid-containing ointments or creams, e.g. B. eczema and skin inflammation.
- The cream is particularly suitable for the treatment of acute weeping skin diseases.
Eczema, dermatitis, SANACUTAN base cream Dosage :
- Always use this medicine exactly as described or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
- The cream is used 1-3 times a day.

When should you use the cream?
- The frequency of application, alternating with the preparation containing corticosteroids, is determined by the doctor.

How long should you use the cream?
- The duration of the application depends on the progress of the treatment and can be 1 - 3 weeks.

If you use more than you should
- There are no known cases of overdose.

If you forgot the application
- Make up for the forgotten application as soon as possible and then go back to your usual user rhythm.
- If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

- The cream is applied thinly to the affected skin and rubbed in gently.
Side effects :

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
- Skin reactions, including itching (pruritus), skin rash (exanthema), skin redness (erythema), skin peeling, burning sensation, hypersensitivity, pain, dry skin and dermatitis bullous have been reported in association with use.
- If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects that are not specified.
