Ichthyol ointment is a traditional topical medicine with astringent and antibacterial properties prepared in accordance with the Polish Pharmacopoeia. Ichthyol is a product of dry distillation of oil shales with a characteristic odor and dark red colour. Ichthyol ointment is recommended for use in the treatment of skin eczema, furunculosis and acne. In addition, ichthyol has an anti-swelling and locally warming effect.

In eczema, furunculosis and acne as a bacteriostatic agent and facilitating the removal of pus. Contraindications: hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.

Lubricate the affected areas externally 1-2 times a day.
