The preparation helps in replenishing fluids and electrolytes during vomiting or viral diarrhea (e.g. caused by rotavirus infection), as a result of which the body is dehydrated. ElectroVit Baby food for special medical purposes is intended for use in children over 6 months of age, and can also be used in older children and adults. The preparation replenishes fluids, minerals and glucose levels. This oral rehydration fluid is characterized by a reduced sodium content and reduced osmolarity, and is formulated according to the recommendations of the European Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The preparation is not suitable for use as the only source of food. Do not use parenterally.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.
How to use ElectroVit Baby sachets:
Use under medical supervision. The contents of the sachet should be dissolved in a glass of boiled, cool water (200 ml). The preparation should be given in small portions at short intervals, small children can be given in a bottle with a teat. The solution tastes best when cooled down. The preparation regimen depends on the degree of dehydration of the body and on the doctor's recommendations. Usually, the following portions are used for consumption after each diarrhea stool or after vomiting: children weighing 4-8 kg: 50-100 ml; children weighing 8-12 kg: 100-150 ml; children weighing over 12 kg: 150-200 ml. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day.
