- The drug is a saline local therapeutic agent for the treatment of respiratory diseases.

The preparation is used:
- For supporting treatment by moisturizing, cleaning and reducing swelling of the nasal mucosa in banal acute infections of the upper respiratory tract and chronic rhinosinusitis and as an accompanying treatment measure to accelerate the healing process after endonasal sinus surgery.

- Always use the medicine exactly as directed. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, you should:
- The medicine should be inhaled by adults, children and infants 3-4 times a day, with each inhalation 5 ml of the solution should be inhaled through the nose. Inhalation should always be carried out using a suitable nebuliser. Compressed air or ultrasonic inhalation devices are suitable. Depending on the type of device, the volume that has to be used for atomization can vary greatly. In this case, enough solution should be filled into the inhalation device to ensure an inhalation time of 10-15 minutes.

- There are no known risks from using too much or too little of the product.

- Uncommon: less than 1 in 100 but more than 1 in 1000 people treated
- Rare: less than 1 in 1000 but more than 1 in 10,000 people treated
- very rare: less than 1 in 10,000 people treated, including isolated cases
- When inhaling the preparation, patients with bronchial asthma and a hyperreactive bronchial system could, in very rare cases, experience spasmodic constriction of the bronchi with acute shortness of breath. In this case, the inhalation should be stopped and a doctor should be consulted if the shortness of breath persists.

Which other medicines influence the effectiveness of the preparation or are their effects influenced by the preparation?
- It is not known that the effectiveness of the preparation is influenced by other medicines. The preparation may slightly increase the effect of drugs that dilate the bronchi.
Contraindications :

The drug must not be used
- if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients of the preparation.
- The medicinal product must not be inhaled if acute shortness of breath has already occurred after previous inhalation with iso-osmotic salt solution.
- Note: Particular care should be taken in patients with pronounced hypersensitivity of the airways (such as bronchial asthma), since inhalation in these patients can in very rare cases lead to bronchoconstriction with acute shortness of breath.

- The medicinal product contains a solution of natural salt in a salt concentration adapted to that of the blood. It is well tolerated by everyone and can therefore be used in all of the above cases when used as intended.
