Composition:
The active substance is fenspiride hydrochloride. 1 ml of syrup contains 2 mg of fenspiride hydrochloride. Other ingredients are: methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), glycerol (E 422), saccharin (E 954), sucrose, vanillin, fused extract of licorice root, potassium sorbate (E 202), aroma, honey aroma, purified water.
Indications:
in the symptomatic treatment of cough, sputum during inflammatory diseases of the bronchi and lungs (no treatment may delay the commencement of antibiotic treatment).
Action:
Eurefin syrup containing the active ingredient fenspiride hydrochloride, which has anti-inflammatory and bronchodilators.Antagonizing histamine receptors H and exerts spasmolytic type papawerynowego. It also shows anti-inflammatory activity, which is probably due to the reduced secretion of mediators of inflammation (cytokines, TNF-α, free radicals). The maximum serum concentration is reached after approx. 2.5 hours. Half-life is 12 h, and is excreted in the urine.

Eurefin Dosage:
The drug is administered orally, immediately before a meal. Children older than 2 years: 4 mg / kg per day (children weighing less than 10 kg: 10 ml and 20 ml of syrup per day in divided doses, and children weighing more than 10 kg: 30 ml 60 ml of the syrup daily in divided doses). Adult is administered from 45 ml to 90 ml per day.
