EXODERIL cream, Naftifine Hydrochloride Ingredients:

Exoderil cream: 1 g contains: Medicinal substance: Naftifine Hydrochloride10 mg

Excipients: Sodium hydroxide, benzyl alcohol, sorbitan monostearate, cetyl palmitate, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, polyoxyethylene (20) isoborbitar monostea water.

EXODERIL cream, Naftifine Hydrochloride Action:

Exoderyl cream is an antifungal for topical application. Its active ingredient is naftifine. Naftifina has a fungicidal effect on skin fungi (dermatophytes) and molds (Aspergillus species), and against yeast (Candida species, Pytiriasis versicolor) depending on the type of fungicide or fungistatic. In addition to its antifungal effect, naftifine also has antibacterial activity against various microorganisms that usually accompany fungal diseases. In addition, Exoderil has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect, which leads to inflammation, mainly itching.

EXODERIL cream, Naftifine Hydrochloride Indications:

For local treatment of mycoses caused by naftifine-sensitive pathogens:

- In mycoses of the skin and skin folds (tinea manum, tinea pedum)

- Mycoses of the nails (onychomycosis)

- Skin infections caused by Candida

- Pityriasis versicolor

- Dermatomycoses (with or without itching)

Method of application:

Exoderil cream is intended for application only topically on the skin and nails. Exoderil cream is applied once a day on and around the affected areas of the skin, which must be pre-washed and carefully dried. As mycoses on the nails are slower to treat, it is recommended to apply twice a day in these cases. To prevent recurrence, treatment should continue for at least two weeks after the symptoms of the disease have disappeared.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to naftifine and / or to any of the other ingredients of the drug. Pregnancy and lactation. When used properly, the drug can be used during pregnancy and lactation and has no effects on the fetus and newborn. Teratological studies have not shown an embryotoxic effect of naftifine.

Side effects:

Occasionally, local irritation may occur, e.g. dryness, redness and burning. They are completely reversible and do not require interruption of treatment. Special safety warnings for use. Exoderil cream should be kept out of sight. The drug should be used after microbiological / mycological examination, especially when used to treat inflammation of the ear canal, as some of them are caused by bacteria.

Drug interactions:

No cases of interactions with other drugs or alcohol have been identified.

Incompatibilities:
