Extraspasmina is a sedative drug. Traditionally, it is used in mild states of nervous tension. The active substance is an extract of valerian root, lemon balm leaf, as well as magnesium and vitamin B6.
Composition of Extraspasmina:
Active substances: hydro-alcoholic extract of Valeriana officinalis L., radix (valerian root) (primary DER 3-6: 1); Melissa officinalis L. dry extract, folium (lemon balm leaf) (DER 6-8: 1); Heavy Magnesium Oxide and Vitamin B6. Action of Extraspasmina:
It is a drug traditionally used in the above-mentioned indications, and its effectiveness is based only on long-term use and experience. Extraspasmina contains a hydro-alcoholic extract of valerian root (valerian). Dry extract of lemon balm leaf, magnesium and vitamin B6 were also used as active substances of the drug. The preparation is traditionally used as a sedative in mild states of nervous tension and as an adjunct in temporary difficulties with falling asleep.

Additional information Extraspasmina:
Store the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against the effects of moisture and light. The drug contains glucose - people with diagnosed intolerance to some sugars should consult a doctor about the possibility of using the drug. The drug contains azorubine, which may cause allergic reactions. The drug may adversely affect the ability to drive and use machines. The drug should not be combined with levodopa, calcium and iron salts, phosphates and anticoagulants. In the case of using tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones, a 3-hour interval should be left between taking this drug and other preparations. The drug may have an influence on the intensification of the effects of other concurrently used central nervous system depressants (barbiturates, benzodiazepines) and drugs lowering blood pressure (e.g. from the group of ACE inhibitors) and cardiac glycosides. It should not be used with other drugs containing magnesium and vitamin B6 (the maximum daily dose of the drug contains 480 mg of magnesium oxide and 30 mg of vitamin B6).
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use in children under 12 years of age. Do not use in the case of severe renal failure, hypermagnesaemia, heart block, myasthenia gravis.
Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug: gastrointestinal symptoms, including nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain. Side effects related to valerian root: if you take more than 20 g of valerian root (12 capsules), symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, abdominal cramps, tightness in the chest, trembling hands, dilated pupils (symptoms disappear within a day) may occur .
Dosage of Extraspasmina capsules:
It is recommended to use as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the leaflet. Use orally. Dosage for adults: use 1-2 capsules 1-3 times a day. The maximum daily dose: 6 capsules. In case of difficulties falling asleep, it is recommended to take 2 capsules once 30-60 minutes before going to bed.
