Additional article information

Areas of application
Frequent urge to urinate, burning when urinating and pain in the abdomen - many women are familiar with the typical symptoms of a bladder infection. E. coli bacteria, which are part of the intestinal flora, often cause the uncomplicated urinary tract infection: If they settle in the bladder, the result is usually an inflammation of the mucous membrane. In addition, the pathogens disturb the balance of the microflora in the intimate area.

It's a good thing that FEMALAC ® exists: With the help of the innovative duo-active formula with D-mannose and lactobacilli, the pathogens are flushed out of the bladder and at the same time a natural, balanced intimate flora is supported. FEMALAC ®Bacteria Blocker Antibiotic-free, no prescription required and available in two pack sizes of 10 or 28 sachets.

mode of action

How does the drug ingredient(s) work?

The D-Mannose contained in FEMALAC ® Bacteria Blocker attaches itself to the E. coli bacteria and flushes them out of the body with the urine. This prevents the pathogens from settling in the mucous membranes of the bladder and causing inflammation. In addition, the lactobacilli ensure a healthy vaginal flora, which is essential for the defense against bacteria.
