Valuable tips for breastfeeding
Breastfeeding gives your baby important nutrients that will give him the best start in life - even if it poses one or the other wardrobe challenge for you. From nursing bras to easily accessible tops, over the next few months you will need to adapt your clothing style to suit your style and style.

Nursing pajamas
Your baby is of course hungry at night too. To make things happen quickly, we recommend that you wear nursing pajamas. Thanks to the breastfeeding opening, it is a practical companion night after night and is also super comfortable.

Nursing Bra
A good nursing bra is a must to give your breasts support and support. It also makes breastfeeding much easier and more convenient. Thanks to special devices, you can breastfeed your baby discreetly without having to take off your bra or push it to the side. Our recommendation for the look: Nursing bras with softly shaped cups. Sleep bras are also a good idea to support your breasts in bed so they keep their shape when you stop breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding isn't just good for your baby - it's good for you too. Up to 500 kilocalories per day are required for milk production, which can help you lose weight naturally during the breastfeeding months. However, it can also put a strain on your body. Therefore, in addition to a healthy lifestyle, a varied and balanced diet is extremely important right now. Femibion® 3 Breastfeeding provides you with selected nutrients, especially folate, DHA, choline and vitamin A.

How do I know that breastfeeding is the right choice?
Breastfeeding has many advantages, both health and practical reasons. However, the decision is not always easy. Good reasons for breastfeeding: The nutritional content and composition of breast milk are not only optimally tailored to your baby's nutritional needs, but it also contains antibodies that protect against infections and allergies. Breast milk is also more easily digested, which helps breastfed babies have less gas and diarrhea and are less prone to constipation. However, breastfeeding can also be challenging. One of the main reasons women stop breastfeeding is because they feel uncomfortable with sore, sore nipples, blocked breasts, or infections. To prevent such problems, you should find out about possible breastfeeding techniques during pregnancy. If you have problems breastfeeding, please contact a midwife, breastfeeding counseling service or your gynecologist immediately. No matter what decision you make, whether to breastfeed or bottle, you don't need to feel guilty at all, your baby will do well.

Is it normal for me to want time alone in the first few weeks after giving birth?
After the unforgettable exhilaration right after the birth of your child, you may very soon be brought back down to earth. But don't worry: this is completely normal for new mothers! In part, this is due to the drop in pregnancy hormone levels, which affects your mood. Another reason could be the fact that you still have to get used to your new role as mom. Finding a rhythm when feeding, learning to understand your baby when he is crying, the pressure to live up to your new responsibilities as a parent, psychological stress and all this combined with little sleep, are not an easy task for you. Therefore, often pat yourself on the shoulder and look forward to every step that you have already successfully mastered. As wonderful as your new happiness may be, it is absolutely understandable if you need a little break from time to time during this phase. So no need to feel guilty in any way.

1Femibion® products contain folate (folic acid and Metafolin®) as well as selected nutrients; Femibion® 2 + 3 also contain docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). The supplementary intake of folic acid increases the folate level in pregnant women. A low folate level in pregnant women is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the growing fetus. For this, an additional 400 μg of folic acid should be taken daily for a period of at least one month before and up to three months after conception. A neural tube defect is caused by several risk factors. Changing a risk factor may or may not have a positive effect. Folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy, including the development of the placenta. The mother's ingestion of DHA (polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid) contributes to the normal development of the brain and eyes in the fetus and in the breastfed infant. The positive effect of DHA occurs when, in addition to the recommended daily dose of omega-3 fatty acids for adults (ie 250 mg DHA and EPA), 200 mg DHA are taken daily.

3 Metafolin® content is the equivalent of 200 μg folic acid
