Composition of Phlegamin ambroxolum 0.015g / 5ml:
Active substance: ambroxol hydrochloride. 5ml syrup (1 measuring spoon) contains 15mg ambroxol hydrochloride and other ingredients: liquid sorbitol, crystallizing (70%) (E420), glycerol (E422), citric acid monohydrate (E330), propylene glycol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxyb (E216), strawberry aroma, liquid 502301 T, purified water.

The active substance in Phlegamine ambroxolum 0.015g / 5ml is ambroxol hydrochloride. It works mucolytically, i.e. it dilutes mucus and is also expectorant. The syrup is indicated for acute and chronic lung diseases, which lead to mucus secretion disorders and problems with its transport. The drug contributes to increasing the amount of mucus in the respiratory tract, reducing its viscosity and accelerating its transport in the respiratory tract, thus facilitating the expectoration process, as well as relieving coughing.

Additional information:
The product should be stored out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. This medicine contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216) - may contribute to allergic reactions (also of the late type). The drug contains sorbitol (5ml of syrup contains 2.25mg sorbitol), for people with known intolerance to some sugars, it is recommended to consult a doctor before using the drug. A mild laxative effect may occur during treatment.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use on children under 2 years of age. It is not recommended to use during pregnancy and lactation.

Dosage of Flegamina ambroxolum syrup 0.015g / 5ml:
Take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you or as directed on the leaflet. Use orally. Take the medicine after eating. Do not use immediately before bedtime. Dosage in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: use 10ml syrup, i.e. two measuring spoons (30mg ambroxol hydrochloride) three times a day for 2-3 days, after which you should reduce the frequency - use 10ml syrup twice per day. Dosage for children from 6 to 12 years of age: use 5ml syrup, i.e. one measuring spoon (15mg ambroxol hydrochloride) 2-3 times a day. Dosage for children from 2 to 6 years of age: use 2.5ml syrup, i.e. 1/2 tablespoon (7.5mg ambroxol hydrochloride) three times a day. In case the treatment lasts longer than 7-14 days, the dose should be reduced.
