Composition of Phlegamina ambroxolum 0.03g / 5ml:

Active substances: ambroxol hydrochloride (Ambroxoli hydrochloridum). 5ml syrup (1 measuring spoon) contains 30mg ambroxol hydrochloride and excipients: liquid sorbitol, crystallizing (70%) (E 420), glycerol (E 422), citric acid monohydrate (E 330), propylene glycol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218 ), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), liquid raspberry aroma A, purified water.

Action Phlegamina ambroxolum 0.03g / 5ml:

The active substance in the drug - ambroxol hydrochloride is an ingredient with expectorant and mucolytic (thinning) effect. The medicinal product Flegamina ambroxolum 0.03g / 5ml increases the amount of mucus in the respiratory tract, as well as reduces its viscosity and accelerates its transport in the respiratory tract, all this makes the drug facilitates expectoration and relieves coughing.

Application:
The medicinal product Flegamina ambroxolum 0.03g / 5ml indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic lung and bronchial diseases in which mucus secretion is impaired and its transport is impaired.

Additional information:
Store out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The drug contains sorbitol (5ml of syrup contains 2.25g sorbitol) - it is not recommended to use the drug in people with hereditary fructose intolerance. The product may have a slightly laxative effect. This medicine contains methyl and propyl parahydroxybenzoate and propylene glycol - ingredients that can cause allergic reactions (including late-type reactions).

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation. Do not use below 2 years of age.

Side effects of Flegamina ambroxolum 0.03g / 5ml:

Some people may experience side effects when taking this medicine. If you develop a rash, skin or mucous membranes, blistering or extensive peeling of the skin, or swelling of the face, tongue or throat (angioedema) causing difficulty in breathing, stop taking the medicine and seek medical attention immediately. Common side effects: nausea, weakness of mouth and throat, dysgeusia (e.g. change in taste); uncommon: vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, indigestion, dry mouth, fever; rare: hypersensitivity reactions, rash, urticaria, heartburn; at an unknown frequency: anaphylactic reactions, including anaphylactic shock, angioedema (swelling of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, which is rapidly progressing).

Dosage of Flegamina ambroxolum syrup 0.03g / 5ml:

Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. Take the medicine after a meal. Do not use the syrup immediately before bedtime. Children and adolescents over 12 years of age and adults: for the first 2-3 days of treatment, use 5ml syrup - one measuring spoon (30mg ambroxol hydrochloride) three times a day, then limit the frequency of use to 5ml syrup twice a day. Children from 6 to 12 years of age: use 2.5ml syrup - 1/2 measuring spoon (15mg ambroxol hydrochloride) 2-3 times a day. Children from 2 to 6 years of age: administer 1.25ml syrup - 1/4 tablespoon (ambroxol hydrochloride) 3 times a day. It is not recommended to use the drug in children without consulting a doctor. If the treatment lasts longer than 7-14 days, it is recommended to reduce the dose. In the event that after 4-5 days the symptoms do not go away or get worse,
