FLEXISEQ gel back pain relief
FLEXISEQ ® Gel
FLEXISEQ ® contains the original, highly concentrated formula that patients all over the world trust.
What is FLEXISEQ ® ?
FLEXISEQ lubricates the cartilage in joints to relieve pain and stiffness in all stages of osteoarthritis and to improve impaired joint function.
How does FLEXISEQ ® work ?
FLEXISEQ is different. In contrast to pharmaceuticals, FLEXISEQ treats some of the mechanical defects that occur in osteoarthritis with its lubricating mechanism of action. With the help of the unique Sequessome technology, FLEXISEQ transports the lubricants through the skin directly into the joint, where they form a film on the surface of the cartilage. By lubricating the joints, FLEXISEQ reduces pain and improves joint function. Thanks to this mechanical mechanism of action, FLEXISEQ does not need drugs for its effectiveness, nor heat or cold effects.
Because FLEXISEQ is drug free, it avoids side effects such as cardiovascular and gastrointestinal discomfort associated with many common pain relievers, including nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). There are no known drug interactions and the product can be used long-term and in conjunction with other medications you are already taking.
FLEXISEQ ®is only intended for external use. Apply an amount appropriate to the size of the joint twice a day, morning and evening. For a knee, shoulder, or hip, a strand as long as your index finger; for an ankle, wrist, or the fingers of one hand, a strand half the length of your index finger. Apply the gel evenly to the soft tissue around the joint. Let FLEXISEQ ® dry for 10 minutes before covering. When used on the knee: do not apply on the kneecap, but on the back and sides. When using on fingers: allow to dry for 10 minutes before washing hands.
* Maximum strength refers to the amount of lubricating components (sequessome vesicles) compared to FLEXISEQ Active.

FLEXISEQ is a pain relief gel
FLEXISEQ is an external gel. FLEXISEQ has been specially developed to combat joint pain associated with osteoarthritis. Daily application in the morning and evening is sufficient to bring about a significant improvement in joint pain after just two days.
FLEXISEQ is a novel medical device for the relief of joint pain, which was investigated in several clinical phase III studies with more than 1000 osteoarthritis patients for up to 12 months. These studies demonstrated that:
- Flexiseq was found to be a very effective pain reliever. In a study that also included a comparator arm with an oral celecoxib, FLEXISEQ demonstrated superiority over the oral placebo and a comparable efficacy and response rate as in the celecoxib treatment arm; and that
- FLEXISEQ had minor side effects in approximately 1 in 10 patients, the majority of which were mild skin irritation that was temporary during use.
The practical, transdermal application and the low rate of side effects offer advantages over oral pain relievers, such as. B. NSAIDs and COX-2 inhibitors, where the occurrence of side effects has been well documented, especially with long-term use.
