BAYER Foresto Collar for cats and dogs under 8 kg is a product that will protect your pet from invasion by dangerous external parasites. After putting on the product, it works for up to eight months. In both dogs and cats, the product effectively combats and prevents flea infestation and tick infestation. In dogs, it can also deal with the problem of lice. It can be used on kittens and puppies older than three months. You can conveniently cut the collar to such a length that it corresponds to the circumference of your pet's neck. Remember that - to be fully effective - it must fit tightly to the neck. It is also not suitable for attaching a leash to it. The collar is also a great solution for animals living outside or often using a bath during walks. Your pet will gain protection against external parasites after two days from putting the product on its neck. The anti-parasitic collar for dogs and cats is also available in a version intended for dogs weighing more than 8 kg.

The product has long-term acaricidal (kills ticks) (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus turanicus) and repellent (prevents parasites from feeding) efficacy in tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus) for a period of 7-8 months. The product is effective against larvae, nymphs and adults of ticks.
In the case of a previous presence of ticks on the cat before treatment, application of the collar may not result in the death of the arachnids within 48 hours; the ticks may remain attached and visible. It is therefore recommended to remove any ticks already on the animal when the collar is applied. The prevention of new tick infestation begins within 2 days after application of the collar.
