- The active substance used in the Furaginum Apteo Med 50mg medicinal product is furazidine. Due to its properties, furazidine is indicated for bacterial infections of the lower urinary tract.
Furaginum APTEO MED 50mg Composition:
The active substance of the drug: furazidine. One tablet contains 50 mg of furazidine. Excipients: maize starch, sucrose, colloidal silica, anhydrous stearic acid.
Action:
Furazidine is a derivative of nitrofuran, it was used in the Furaginum Apteo Med 50mg. It inhibits the growth of bacteria that are responsible for causing urinary tract infections.

Additional information:

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug or to other derivatives of nitrofuran. Do not use in the first trimester of pregnancy, as well as during pregnancy (from week 38) and during delivery. Do not use in children and adolescents. Do not use in the case of renal failure (when creatinine clearance below 60 ml / min or elevated serum creatinine was found in laboratory tests). Side effects:

Dosage Furaginum APTEO MED 50mg :
Take as directed by your doctor or the directions on the leaflet. In adults, it is recommended to take two tablets (100mg) 4 times a day on the first day of treatment. In the following days, reduce the daily dose, use two tablets (100mg) three times a day. The drug is taken with a meal that contains protein, because it increases the absorption of the drug. If after 7-8 days of using the preparation the symptoms do not disappear or worsen, you should visit a doctor.
