Aciclovir skin stick. Hevipoint is indicated for the treatment of herpes labialis (herpes simplex infection). The active substance in the drug has antiviral activity.

Active substance: acyclovir (Aciclovirum). 1g of stick contains 50mg of acyclovir and other ingredients: castor oil, solid fat, carnauba wax, white wax, octyldodecanol, white petrolatum, butylhydroxytoluene, vanilla flavor

Aciclovir, the active substance contained in the Hevipoint skin stick, is an antiviral substance. The indication for the use of Hevipoint is recurrent lip infection with the herpes simplex virus (Herpes simplex). The stick's convenient form ensures precise application in the affected area.

Additional Aciclovir information:

The product should be stored out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Do not refrigerate. Use in pregnant women and nursing mothers should consult a doctor. The preparation should be used within 3 months of first opening. Avoid contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes, nose and mouth. Butylhydroxytoluene contained in the preparation may contribute to the formation of a local skin reaction (eye irritation, mucosal irritation, contact dermatitis). The product can only be used by one person.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug and to valciclovir. Do not use below 12 years of age. Do not use to treat genital herpes or skin infections.

Side effects:

Some people may get side effects when using the stick. If you have an allergic reaction, stop using the medicine and consult your doctor. Uncommon: transient burning sensation, pricking sensation, tingling sensation after treatment; moderate drying and peeling of the skin; itching. Rare: erythema; contact dermatitis. Very rare: sudden allergic reaction - including angioedema and urticaria.

Dosage of the herpes simplex virus infection, Aciclovir Hevipoint stick to the skin:

Apply to the skin. Use as directed by your doctor or instructions on the leaflet. Adults, adolescents over 12 years of age: apply 5 times a day at approximately 4-hour intervals. Apply a small amount directly to the affected area. Do not touch infected areas with your hands. It is recommended to start treatment as soon as the first symptoms of herpes (redness, burning, itching) are recognized. Use for at least 5 days (treatment can be extended to 10 days). It is recommended to consult a doctor if the immune system is malfunctioning, the cold sores do not subside after 10 days, the lesions get worse or do not heal, and severe recurrent cold sores have occurred.
