Ibuvit D3 4000 IU is indicated in obese adults. The drug contains as much as 100mcg of cholecalciferol in one capsule, it is intended for use in the prevention of vitamin D deficiency in the body.
Composition of Ibuvit D3 4000 IU:
Active substance: cholecalciferol (Cholecalciferolum). One capsule contains 100mcg of cholecalciferol equivalent to 4000IU of vitamin D and excipients: capsule content: refined safflower oil; capsule shell composition: gelatin, glycerol, purified water, medium chain fatty acid triglycerides.
Operation of the Ibuvit D3 4000 IU:
The active substance contained in the drug, i.e. cholecalciferol, is identical to vitamin D, which is produced in the human body. Its deficiency can have serious consequences, it can lead to rickets or osteomalacia. Ibuvit D3 4000 IU is indicated for the prophylaxis of vitamin D deficiency and conditions resulting from this deficiency. Due to the high dose of cholecalciferol, the drug is dedicated to adults with obesity.
Application:
Ibuvit D3 4000 IU is indicated for the prophylaxis of vitamin D deficiency and its consequences. A drug for obese adults (body mass index: BMI> 30).
Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against the effects of moisture and light. You should exercise caution or consult your doctor in the case of people taking medications taken for heart diseases (e.g. cardiac glycosides), people with sarcoidosis, people taking other preparations with vitamin D, people taking additional doses of calcium, people with damaged or diseased kidneys, taking vitamin D for a long time.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in the case of known elevated levels of calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia) or in the urine (hypercalciuria). Do not use in the case of severe renal failure, kidney stones (nephrolithiasis) or a tendency to form kidney stones. Do not use in the case of known elevated levels of vitamin D in the blood (vitamin D hypervitaminosis). Do not use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Do not use during pregnancy. It is not recommended to use during breastfeeding.
Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug. You should see your doctor immediately if you experience the following symptoms: symptoms of angioedema - swelling of the face, tongue or throat (larynx), difficulty swallowing, hives and difficulty breathing. Other side effects: uncommon - increased levels of calcium in the blood (hypercalcaemia), increased levels of calcium in the urine (hypercalciuria); rarely - rash, itching, hives; Not known - constipation, wind (flatulence), nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea.
Dosage of Ibuvit D3 4000 IU capsules:
Use as directed by your doctor or directions on the leaflet. Prevention of vitamin D deficiency and conditions resulting from vitamin D deficiency in obese adults: usually 4000IU (1 capsule) per day. Use in the period from October to April or throughout the year, when the skin synthesis is insufficient. The capsule should be swallowed whole with water. Taken with the main meal.
