Active substance: ichtamol (Ichthammolum). 100 g of ointment contains 10 g of ichtamol and auxiliary substances: lanolin, yellow petrolatum.

The indications for the use of Ichthyol Ointment 10% are boils, eczema and acne. The preparation is used as a bacteriostatic agent and supports the removal of pus. The active substance is ichtamol. The ointment has an astringent and slightly antibacterial effect.
