INFACOL Composition:
1 ml of suspension contains 40 mg of simethicone.
INFACOL Response:The compound lowers the surface tension of bubbles of gas in the gastrointestinal tract, causing their assembly and facilitating the removal of gases from the gastrointestinal tract due to peristalsis. It prevents excessive accumulation of gases, reduces bloating and stomach tension, relieving pain caused by them. Following oral administration is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and is excreted in the faeces as unchanged.
INFACOL Indications: Relief of symptoms associated with excess accumulation of gases in the digestive tract (bloating, abdominal colic caused by the accumulation of gases). Used in infants from 1 months of age and children.
INFACOL Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to simethicone. Do not give to children under 1 months of age
INFACOL Dosage: Before each meal you should give your child 0.5 ml suspension (the full contents of the dropper), which contains 20 mg of simethicone. Shake the bottle well and then completely fill the dropper by double squeeze the rubber tip. Allow the excess drug to drain back into the bottle. The drug is administered orally. The contents of the dropper should squeeze deep into the child.
If needed, the dose may be increased to 40 mg (1 ml of suspension). The administration of the drug causes a gradual recovery over several days.
