The intestinal flora - important for children and families
Darmflora plus Kinder + Familie* contains a recipe that is specially designed for children's health. The preparation contains vitamin D for the child's immune system as well as for growth and bone development and vitamin B2 to support the mucous membranes such as the intestinal mucosa.* A special feature is the milk oligosaccharide (HMO) 2'-fucosyllactose . This unique substance is also found in breast milk. Darmflora plus Kinder + Familie* contains 3 strains of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium lactis) in a high concentration of six billion per daily dose as well as the proven dietary fiber inulin from chicory.
The HMO (human milk oligosaccharide) 2'-fucosyllactose
2'-Fucosyllactose is a special component of the so-called human milk oligosaccharides (HMO). These are complex carbohydrates that occur naturally in breast milk. HMO are the main differentiator between breast milk and cow's milk. 2'-Fucosyllactose is the most abundant oligosaccharide in breast milk for most mothers. And compared to other infant formulas, breast milk is still the best for infant nutrition. This is because breastfeeding has the favorable outcomes in terms of children's growth, nutritional status, immune protection, gut flora and long-term developmental outcomes. It is therefore not for nothing that attempts are being made to reduce the gap between breast milk and infant formula, which is largely based on cow's milk. 2'-Fucosyllactose is the most thoroughly studied human milk oligosaccharide to date. Because 2'-fucosyllactose is found in breast milk, it is particularly suitable for children who are not breastfed.
• For children who were not breastfed.
