Ingestion iodine deficiency, potassium iodide and dosage of Jodid 200 HEXAL®
Take Jodid 200 μg HEXAL after a meal with enough liquid (e.g. a glass of water). The preventive administration of iodide 200 μg HEXAL generally has to be carried out over a period of years, often for life. For the treatment of goiter in newborns, 2 to 4 weeks are usually sufficient; children, adolescents and adults usually require 6-12 months or more.
