L-GLUTAMINE, What is l glutamine? 500 mg GPH capsules and powder

What is l glutamine?

Glutamine is an α-amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. Its side chain is similar to that of glutamic acid, except the carboxylic acid group is replaced by an amide. It is classified as a charge-neutral, polar amino acid.

Glutamine is a building block for making proteins in the body. It's also needed to make other amino acids and glucose. Glutamine supplements might help gut function, immune function, and other processes, especially in times of stress when the body uses more glutamine.

Consumption L-GLUTAMINE, recommendation:
Adults: Take 1 x 1 capsule daily with liquid.
1 capsule contains 500 mg L-Glutamine.

Powder: Adults: 1 x 1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon corresponds to approx. 2000 mg L-glutamine.

Gluten free. Lactose free.

Product L-GLUTAMINE, description:
L-glutamine is the acid amide of the non-essential amino acid L-glutamic acid. Both are widely available and a never-missing protein ingredient. In the organism, L-glutamine is required for the formation of purine and amino sugars, for example, and in the kidneys it plays a role as an NH3 donor (neutralization).

This L-GLUTAMINE, amino acid performs the following functions:
Radical scavenger:
L-Glutamine, together with L-Cysteine, serves as a starting material for the synthesis of glutathione. Glutathione protects the cell from free radicals. Our current living conditions — high physical and psychological stress, unbalanced nutrition and negative environmental influences — promote the formation of free radicals. They damage the cells and are thus involved in the development of many diseases. Glutathione can render free radicals harmless.

Energy L-GLUTAMINE, Provider:
L-Glutamine is a rich source of energy for the body's cells and is broken down in many tissues of the body for energy.

Calming L-GLUTAMINE, effect:
L-glutamine, but not glutamic acid, can cross the blood-brain barrier. L-glutamine therefore has a positive effect on memory and concentration.
