Lactinea action:
Lactoferrin is a bioactive protein that naturally occurs in body fluids. Lactoferrin is one of the most important elements of the immune system. Its characteristic feature is that it has a high affinity with iron. It catches and then binds iron, making it difficult for bacteria to reach metal ions, which they need for multiplication and growth. Breastfeeding babies receive their portion of lactoferrin together with breast milk, in the case of toddlers fed with modified milk, it is recommended to use additional preparations with lactoferrin.
Application:
Dietary food for special medical purposes Lactinea intended for use in dietary management during infection, in immunocompromised states, as well as in disturbances in iron economy. For use in children from the first day of life and adults. Recommended especially for premature babies, as well as newborns born with low birth weight and infants who are fed with modified milk.
Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is not suitable for use as the only source of food. It is not suitable for parenteral use.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.
Usage:
Use under medical supervision. Infants, children: one sachet. Adults: two sachets. Dissolve the contents of the sachet in lukewarm liquid (water, milk), in about 30ml. Prepare the prepared solution immediately. Adults can pour the contents of the sachet directly into the mouth. Do not use to dissolve hot liquids, because lactoferrin as a protein is destroyed at high temperature. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day.
