LAXAL, Psyllium Application:
LAXAL is a product based on Psyllium, known as the softest and harmless laxative. It can be used for accidental or chronic constipation and for general digestive problems.
LAXAL is based on Psyllium - the most harmless herb against constipation. Indian white plantain (Plantago Psyllium, family Plantaginaceae) has been used since ancient Ayurveda. Psyllium is now known throughout Europe, Asia and America for its valuable fiber. The reason why this plant has become synonymous with "insoluble" and "soluble" fiber worldwide is the large amount of fiber contained in its seeds.
The use of fiber and whole psyllium seeds is considered absolutely safe. Psyllium fiber intake studies have been performed for periods of three months to two years without any associated pathologies. The safety of the herb when taken by healthy people has been proven. It is important that the fiber is taken with adequate amounts of fluids, because of their tendency to swell quickly. The Psyllium plant is completely harmless, unlike most laxatives, which either lead to addiction or damage the intestinal walls. Restores full motor skills and provides the necessary comfort. When combined with water, its fibers form a soft gel. This solution has a pronounced laxative effect. On the other hand, in patients with diarrhea, the gel absorbs water, provides strong and lasting relief in gastrointestinal transit. In patients suffering from constipation, the gel absorbs water, improves and stimulates peristalsis, reducing the time of the gastrointestinal passage.
Psyllium can significantly reduce abdominal pain in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) by reducing rectosigmodial pressure. In addition, the herb lowers peak blood sugar levels by slowing down the absorption of carbohydrates. Lowers cholesterol by absorbing fat in the gastrointestinal tract. This prevents their systemic absorption in the body. Psyllium also increases the rate of elimination of cholesterol in the fecal acidic environment. The elimination of bile pigments, heavy metals and other exogenous and endogenous toxins is also increased. By taking plant fiber from Psyllium, the negative side effects that accompany the use of any type of anti-constipation medication are avoided. Characteristic of Psyllium is not the fast, but the lasting and harmless action. It is suitable for long-term use without disturbing peristalsis and leading to lazy bowels. It acts gently and with accumulation, without causing an unpleasant feeling of pain and discomfort. Due to the lack of side effects, Psyllium is rightly recommended before all other laxatives.
