For use within the framework of neural therapy application principles.
Local anesthetic for neural therapy.
active ingredients
- 20 mg lidocaine hydrochloride-1 water
excipients
- water for injections
- Sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment

Local anesthetic for neural therapy - No prescription required!
Composition:
1 ampoule of 2 ml contains: Lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate 20 mg (equivalent to 16.2 mg lidocaine)
Excipients: Sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide solution, water for injections.
Areas of application:
For use within the framework of neural therapy application principles.
Dosage:
The basic rule is that only the smallest dose that achieves the desired effect may be administered. The usual dose for adults and adolescents over 15 years of average height is: skin wheals, per wheal up to 20 mg lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate (equivalent to up to 2 ml "Heweneural 1%").
When applied to tissue from which substances are rapidly absorbed, a single dose of 300 mg lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate without vasoconstrictor additive or 500 mg lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate with vasoconstrictor additive should not be exceeded. Lower doses should be used in children, elderly patients, patients with a reduced general condition or severe kidney, liver or tumor diseases and during pregnancy.
In the case of renal insufficiency, the duration of action may be shortened. Patients with cerebral seizures may be more likely to convulse. Allergic and toxic reactions of the nervous system to local anesthetics can occur more frequently in Melkersson-Rosenthal syndrome. In the case of cardiac insufficiency or disorders of the cardiac conduction system, the dose must be reduced and the functional parameters must be constantly monitored, even after the local anesthetic has stopped working.
Method of application:
"Heweneural 1%" is injected into the skin (intracutaneously).
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to local anesthetics of the acid amide type, severe disorders of the cardiac conduction system, acute decompensated heart failure, shock.
Particular caution is required in the case of kidney or liver diseases, myasthenia gravis, injection into an inflamed area, use in the head and neck area, concomitant treatment with anticoagulants (eg heparin), NSAIDs or plasma substitutes because of increased bleeding tendency. Strict indication during pregnancy.
Side Effects:
Systemic reactions can occur at higher blood levels and affect the central nervous and cardiovascular systems. Drop in blood pressure in relative overdose. As with other local anesthetics, malignant hyperthermia cannot be ruled out. Allergic reactions in the form of pruritus, edema, bronchospasm, respiratory distress syndrome and circulatory reactions are occasionally described.
Interactions:
vasoconstrictive drugs (longer duration of action of lidocaine); Secale alkaloids, eg ergotamine, or epinephrine (drop in blood pressure); tranquilizers (increased central nervous system seizure threshold); Aprindine (intensification of side effects); propranolol, diltiazem and verapamil (risk of accumulation of lidocaine); other local anesthetics (additive effects on the cardiovascular system and CNS); cimetidine (increased lidocaine toxicity); non-depolarizing muscle relaxants (prolonged effect of lidocaine).
In addition to the ability to inhibit nervous excitation and conductivity, "Heweneural 1%" (lidocaine) can have a beneficial effect on the vegetative nervous system via trigger points. "Heweneural 1%" works quickly and sustainably, contains no preservatives and is well tolerated.
