LipoVitamine Forte 10,000 has a high vitamin D3 content (10,000 IU) for a healthy immune system. It also contains the fat-soluble vitamins E, K2 (MK7-all-trans) and A as well as high-quality, purely vegetable MCT coconut oil as a carrier molecule to increase the absorption of the vitamins.
The high proportion of vitamin D3 supports normal calcium/phosphate homeostasis in the blood in order to keep muscle functions as well as bone and tooth substance healthy. The combination of fat-soluble vitamins D and A contributes to the normal function of the immune system and also plays a role in cell division and specialization.
Vitamin E supports cells in protecting against oxidative stress.
The vitamin A it contains also contributes to the health of the skin and mucous membranes and to maintaining normal vision.
Like coconut oil, MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides) comes from the pulp of the coconut (Cocos nucifera). MCT oil contains easily digestible fatty acids that are quickly transported to the liver and converted into ketone bodies. It is not stored in fat cells but transported directly to the liver.
MCT powder is the result of adding fiber to the oil. During production, the oil is supplemented with acacia fibers. The ratio of oil to fiber in most products is approximately 70% to 30%. The oil serves as a carrier oil for the fat-soluble vitamins.
