- Acute diarrhea. The indication for use is Lopacut symptomatic treatment of sudden, short diarrhea (acute diarrhea) in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age
Composition:
1 tablet contains 2 mg of loperamide hydrochloride.
Action:
Lopacut is an orally active antidiarrheal in the form of small, easily swallowed tablets. With the active substance in the form of loperamide hydrochloride, takes diarrhea after one dose (two tablets). Drug returns to the normal intestinal function and reduces the frequency of bowel movements.
Dosage:
adults and adolescents over 12 years
Oral: initially, then 2 tablets 1 tablet after every loose bowel movement, and not less than 2-3 hours after the initial dose. The maximum daily dose should not be more than 6 tablets for adults (maximum daily dose is 12 mg) and 4 tablets for young people (maximum dose is 8 mg). Do not use Lopacut more than 2 days without consulting a doctor.
