Loperamide ratiopharm acute – fast and reliable against diarrhea
Especially when traveling, but also in everyday life, many Germans have to struggle with diarrhea from time to time. If the intestine causes problems, unfamiliar and contaminated food, bacterial infections or food intolerances can be the cause. Fast and reliable help is then important, because diarrhea is not only uncomfortable and has a negative effect on physical well-being, it can also result in increased loss of fluid and electrolytes in the body. As a reliable and well-tolerated drug, Loperamide ratiopharm is there to help you with acute diarrhea. It is a so-called diarrhea stopper with the proven active ingredient loperamide, which effectively counteracts diarrhea and, if taken in good time, prevents it that the body is deprived of too much fluid. Especially when travelling, you should always have Loperamide ratiopharm on hand as a fast-acting diarrhea medicine.
How does against diarrhea Loperamide ratiopharm acute 2mg work?
Loperamide ratiopharm acute contains the active ingredient loperamide, which has proven effective in the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea. Loperamide inhibits intestinal movement by directly attacking the receptors on the intestinal wall. In this way, the intestinal contents remain longer in the intestine and become firmer. This effectively counteracts diarrhea while at the same time curbing the excessive excretion of electrolytes and fluid, which can prevent fluid loss in diarrhea. In addition, Loperamide ratiopharm causes muscle tension in the sphincter in the rectum. It also does not attack the intestinal flora and is therefore well tolerated.
