MACA ROOT POWDER

Maca, lat. lepidium meyenii walp, is a small tuber that grows in the Peruvian Andes at about 4000 m. It is distantly related to the celery we know and has been growing since time immemorial in the wild Andean plateaus, a hostile and rugged region that is exposed to extreme climatic conditions. For the inhabitants of this region, Maca is a valuable foodstuff which, among other things, has a high proportion of valuable minerals and has been used as a fertility aid for humans and animals for centuries. As early as the 16th century, the Spanish conquerors transported the root to Europe by ship. Maca was considered so valuable by the colonial rulers of the time that they recognized it as a regular means of payment.

Consume 2g to 3g powder 3 times a day with meals or liquids. At times of increased physical stress, the amount can be increased to 30g per day.
