Magnesium plays a central role in our organism as one of the key minerals. It is involved in numerous metabolic processes and activates a wide range of enzymes. However, the absorption, requirement and excretion of magnesium are often not in balance - a magnesium deficiency can result. Magnerot ® N magnesium tablets can compensate for a magnesium deficiency and restore the balance.

To cover the basic magnesium supply and to maintain the magnesium balance, magnerot ® N magnesium tablets are suitable . One tablet contains 48.6 mg of magnesium.

Dosage :
- Always take this medicine exactly as directed in this leaflet. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
- The dosage depends on the severity of the magnesium deficiency.
- To replenish magnesium stores, take 3 tablets 3 times a day for one week, then 1-3 tablets 3 times a day as a maintenance dose.
- Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.

Warning
- Diseases attributed to magnesium deficiency can also have other causes. If taking magnesium does not have an effect, you should consult your doctor if you have serious symptoms.

Duration of application
- The duration of use should be at least 6 weeks. The medicine can also be taken over a long period of time.

If you take more than you should:
- When taking magnesium, no symptoms of poisoning are to be expected if the kidneys are functioning normally. However, diarrhea may occur, which can be remedied by reducing the dose or stopping the medication.

If you forget to take it:
- Continue taking the medicine at the usual times as before and remember to take it regularly in the future.
