- Always take the medicine exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Please adhere to the dosage instructions, otherwise the medicine cannot work properly!

- Adults and adolescents: 1 chewable tablet 1 - 3 times daily

Duration of application:
- There is no time limit for the duration of use. If you have a chronic magnesium deficiency, you should take it for more than 4 weeks.

If you take more than you should:
- When taking magnesium, no symptoms of poisoning are to be expected if the kidney function is normal. If you take more medicine than you should, please notify your doctor. This can decide on any necessary measures. The side effects listed below may occur more frequently. Any diarrhea can be remedied by reducing or discontinuing the preparation.

If you forget to take it
- Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.

If you stop taking it
- In order to achieve successful treatment, the medicine should be taken as regularly as possible. If you would like to interrupt or end treatment early, please speak to your doctor.
Way :
- The tablets should be chewed with some liquid before meals.
Side effects :
- Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

- Very common: more than 1 in 10 people treated
- Common: less than 1 in 10, but more than 1 in 100 people treated

Possible side effects:
- At high doses, loose stools may occur, but these are harmless.
- If you take high doses and take it for a long time, symptoms of fatigue may occur. This can be an indication that an increased magnesium concentration has already been reached in the blood.
- If you notice any side effects that are not listed, please report them to your doctor or pharmacist.

Countermeasures:
- If diarrhea occurs, reduce the daily dose or temporarily discontinue the preparation.
- Feelings of tiredness while taking the medicine may be an indication of increased magnesium concentrations in the blood. In this case, you should inform your doctor that you are taking the medicine so that the magnesium content in the blood can be checked if necessary.
- Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if any of the side effects listed seriously affects you or if you notice side effects that are not listed.

When taken with other medicines:
- Aminoglycoside antibiotics, cisplatin and cyclosporine A can lead to increased excretion of magnesium by the kidneys.
- Magnesium, iron, fluoride and tetracyclines influence each other's absorption. There should therefore be an interval of at least 1 - 2 hours between taking magnesium and the other substances mentioned.
- Please note that this information may also apply to recently used medicines!
- Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using or have recently used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines!

When taken with food and drinks
- Alcohol promotes the excretion of magnesium and inhibits its absorption into the body and should therefore be avoided during therapy with the drug.
Contraindications :

The medicine must not be taken:
- if you are known to be hypersensitive to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients
- in severe kidney dysfunction
- in myasthenia gravis
- Conduction disorder between the atrium and ventricle of the heart (AV block)
- If necessary, the doctor must check whether the electrolyte status indicates a contraindication.
Pregnancy and breast feeding period :
- There have been no reports of adverse effects during pregnancy/breastfeeding in humans.
- If magnesium is administered shortly before birth, the newborn should be monitored for signs of toxicity (neurological depression with respiratory depression, muscle weakness, loss of reflexes).

Particular caution is required when taking the drug:
- If you have mild or moderate kidney dysfunction, only take this medicine after consulting your doctor!
- If you are known to have a predisposition to the formation of struvite kidney stones (magnesium ammonium phosphate stones), consult your doctor before taking the medication! Diseases caused by magnesium deficiency can also have other causes. If taking it has no effect, you should consult your doctor.
