MEPITEL silicone mesh bandage 8x10 cm sterile. Gentle, double-sided adhesive wound spacer grid — minimizes your patients' pain during dressing changes

Mepitel ® is a gentle, double-sided adhesive wound spacer grid with Safetac ® — the original contact layer with silicone adhesion, which minimizes pain during dressing changes. It lies gently on the skin without sticking to the moist wound - so you can easily remove the dressing without damaging the skin or the wound. This makes dressing changes less painful for your patients.

MEPITEL silicone mesh bandage 8x10 cm sterile:

Safetac also protects the new tissue and intact skin and supports the natural healing process. The edges of the wound are also sealed to protect the skin from maceration.

Thanks to the perforated design, wound exudate drains into a secondary absorbent dressing. You can leave the dressing on the wound and apply topical treatments. The integrity of the dressing allows it to be left in place for up to 14 days and secondary dressings can be changed without disrupting the healing process.

- Truly undisturbed healing — can remain on the wound for up to 14 days
- Leaves no residue and retains functional properties over time

MEPITEL silicone mesh bandage 8x10 cm sterile application areas

Mepitel is a wound dressing with a mesh structure (wound spacer grid) that does not stick to the wound and allows exudate to drain off. It adheres well to the skin and protects the tissue. Mepitel is designed for a variety of exuding wounds such as: B. Skin tears, skin abrasions, stitched wounds, second degree burns, lacerations, superficial and deep skin graft wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial leg ulcers. Mepitel can also be used as a protective coating on non-exuding wounds, blisters, fragile skin and exposed fragile tissue.

MEPITEL silicone mesh bandage 8x10 cm sterile:

Mepitel's open structure allows topical ointments to be applied to the wound when clinically indicated.

You can use Mepitel in combination with Mesorb® or — for heavily exuding wounds — together with Mextra® Superabsorbent, with Tubifast® fixation and under compression bandages. Mepitel can also be used in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy.
