Miconal antifungal aerosol is a medicinal product whose indication for use is fungal skin infections (e.g. feet, armpits, trunk) and mixed fungal-bacterial infections. The active substance is miconazole nitrate.
Composition of Miconal antifungal aerosol:
Active substance: Miconazole Nitrate (Miconazoli nitras). 1g of suspension contains 3.29mg of miconazole nitrate and excipients: sorbitan trioleate (Span 85), lecithin, isopropyl myristate, Drivosol 35 A (a mixture of propane, butane, isobutane).
Miconal antifungal aerosol action:
The active substance used in the drug - miconazole - has antifungal activity against many types of fungi, and is also antibacterial against some bacteria. Miconal medicinal product intended for use on the skin in the case of fungal skin infections and mixed fungal-bacterial infections. Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Extremely flammable. The eyes should be protected against contact with the product, in case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation or symptoms of hypersensitivity occur, discontinue use of the spray. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should consult a physician about the possibility of using the drug.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use for the treatment of fungal infections of the scalp, nails, mucous membranes and wounded skin.
Side effects:
Some people may get side effects while taking this medicine. Immune system disorders: Very rare - Anaphylactic reactions, hypersensitivity, angioedema. Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: very rare - urticaria, contact dermatitis, rash, erythema, pruritus, burning sensation on the skin. Miconal antifungal aerosol dosage:
Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. For external use, for topical use on the skin. Apply in a diseased place. Usually used twice a day (morning and evening). The container should be shaken vigorously before use. Duration of treatment: the drug should be used at least a week after all symptoms and lesions have disappeared.
