Migraine headache, MIGEA Composition:


1 tablet contains: tolfenamic acid - 200mg and auxiliary substances: maize starch, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), macrogol 6000, alginic acid, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium stearyl fumarate.

 

Migraine headache, MIGEA Action:


The active ingredient of Migea is tolfenamic acid, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic. This substance is quickly and almost completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. After 60-90 minutes after administration of the product, its maximum concentration in the blood is reached.

 

Migraine headache, MIGEA Application:


Migea 200mg for use in acute migraine attacks.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of: hypersensitivity to any component of the drug; a history of hypersensitivity reactions associated with the use of acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs (eg asthma attack, acute rhinitis, angioneurotic edema, urticaria); severe heart, liver or kidney failure; bleeding (e.g. from the gastrointestinal tract, cerebral vessels or other active bleeding); peptic ulcer of the stomach or duodenum; in the third trimester of pregnancy and in children.

Side effects: Adverse reactions
may occur - may affect nausea, vomiting, indigestion, abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, anorexia, gastritis, gastrointestinal bleeding and gastrointestinal ulceration, sometimes with bleeding and perforation ( including fatalities, especially in the elderly), colitis, exacerbation of colitis, exacerbation of Leśniowski and Crohn's disease, increased liver enzymes, very rarely hepatitis, pancreatitis. Long-term use of tolfenamic acid in high doses may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke.

 

Dosage Migraine headache, MIGEA:


For oral use. Adults, the elderly: at the onset of the first symptoms of migraine, take 1 tablet. If there is no improvement, take the next dose after 1-2 hours. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not take more than 2 tablets a day.
