What is Monapax® syrup and what is it used for?
Monapax® syrup is a himopathic medicine for diseases of the respiratory organs.
The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures.
These include: Inflammation of the airways, especially whooping and night-time spasmodic cough.
A doctor should be consulted if the symptoms persist, if you have Atemont, if you have a persistent fever, or if you have purulent or bloody sputum.
In the case of whooping cough, the doctor must decide whether antibiotic treatment is necessary.
How to take Monapax® syrup?
Always take Monapax® Syrup exactly as directed on the package insert. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed:
Acute course of illness:
Every half hour to a full hour, at most 6 times a day according to the dosage table below
Chronic disease progression:
1 to 3 times a day according to the dosage table below

If the symptoms improve, the frequency of application should be reduced. An application longer than one week should only be done after consultation with an experienced himopathic therapist.
A dosing aid (measuring cup) is included with the pack for measuring the above quantities.
The liquid is taken diluted.
Since the active ingredients in Monapax® syrup are well absorbed by the oral mucosa, the liquid should be left in the mouth for a while before swallowing.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Monapax® syrup is too strong or too weak.
If you take more Monapax® Syrup than you should
Due to the dilution levels, no harmful effects are to be expected even in the case of an overdose.
If you have forgotten to take Monapax® syrup:
If you have forgotten to take it, you should make up for it as soon as possible and then continue with the prescribed dosage.
