Three quarters of all women suffer from a vaginal yeast infection at least once in their lives. In about 5% of all women, vaginal yeast infections even occur several times a year. Numerous organs can become ill with a fungal infection, also known as mycosis. A vaginal yeast infection is an infection of the vagina and/or labia. An antifungal drug is used to treat it.
