Naproxen EMO contained in the drug belongs to the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The medicinal product Naproxen gel 10% is recommended for local use in the case of muscular and joint pain and osteoarthritis.
Composition Naproxen EMO gel 10% :
Active substance: naproxen. One gram of gel contains 100mg naproxen and auxiliary substances: chloral hydrate, levomenthol, ethanol 96%, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium hydroxide, carbomer, purified water.
Action Naproxen EMO gel 10% :
The active substance used in Naproxen 10% is the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug naproxen. One gram of gel contains 100mg of this ingredient. Indications for use of the drug are muscle and joint pain and osteoarthritis. The gel is applied topically to the skin. It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, reduces swelling, and cools nicely.

The product should be stored out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Do not use on eyes and on mucous membranes, orally and under dressings. Caution is advised for people with renal or hepatic insufficiency, bleeding diathesis, stomach and / or duodenal disease. Avoid exposure to sunlight during the treatment period and 14 days after its termination. This medicine contains ethyl parahydroxybenzoate - it may cause allergic reactions (including late-type reactions). If irritation and redness appear, it is recommended to stop using the medicine until these symptoms disappear.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the gel and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Do not use during pregnancy and lactation, as well as in children under 3 years of age. Do not use on oozing wounds and damaged skin.
Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking this medicine. Rarely - irritation (erythema, burning, pruritus) which disappears after stopping the drug. Systemic side effects (e.g. diarrhea, nausea, drowsiness, headache, hypersensitivity reactions) may occur with prolonged use of the drug on large areas of the body.
Dosage of Naproxen EMO gel 10%:
For topical use. Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. Apply a small amount of gel to the sore spot, gently massage until completely absorbed. Use 4-5 times a day (at intervals of several hours). Wash your hands thoroughly after each use. Do not use for more than 4 weeks. In the event that the symptoms persist or worsen after a week of use, consult a doctor.
