 The active substance in Nasometin Control 0.05mg is mometasone furoate. The medicine Nasometin is a nasal spray. The indications for Nasometin use are the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever).

Composition of Nasometin Control 0.05mg nasal spray:

Active substance Nasometin: Mometasone Furoate (Mometasoni furoas). One dose (atomization) contains 50mcg of mometasone furoate and excipients: benzalkonium chloride, microcrystalline cellulose, caramelose sodium, glycerol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, polysorbate 80, purified water.

Nasometin Control 0.05mg nasal spray:

Nasometin Control 0.05mg is a drug containing mometasone furoate, i.e. a glucocorticosteroid. It is a nasal steroid indicated for the treatment of symptoms of known seasonal allergic rhinitis. The drug reduces hay fever symptoms such as swelling, sneezing, itching, and runny nose. Nasal spray Nasometin provides precise topical application.

Application Nasometin:
The medicinal product Nasometin Control 0.05mg nasal spray indicated for use in the treatment of symptoms of diagnosed seasonal allergic rhinitis. The drug is for adults only.

Additional information Nasometin:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Do not spray directly on the nasal septum. The possibility of using the drug in pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers should consult a doctor. The medicine should be used within two months of first opening.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in the case of untreated infection of the nasal mucosa. Do not use after recent nasal surgery or recent nasal trauma. Do not use below 18 years of age.

Side effects of Nasometin Control 0.05mg nasal spray:

Some people may get side effects while using the medicine. If the following side effects occur, stop using the medicine immediately and seek medical attention: swelling of the face, tongue or throat, difficulty swallowing, hives, difficulty breathing, wheezing. 

Nasometin Other side effects: Common - headache, sneezing, nosebleeds, nasal mucosa ulceration, respiratory tract infection, nasal pain; not known - increased pressure in the eye and / or cataract causing visual disturbances, blurred vision, nasal septum damage, changes in taste and smell, difficulty in breathing and / or wheezing.

Dosage of Nasometin Control 0.05mg:

Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. Shake well before use. After use, wipe the applicator with a clean tissue. Apply two aerosol sprays to each nostril once a day. If the symptoms are less severe, the dose can be reduced to one spray in each nostril once a day. In the event that there is no improvement or symptoms worsen after 14 days of treatment, a doctor should be consulted. Do not use for more than one month without consulting a doctor.

Instructions for use Nasometin Control 0.05mg:

Read the package leaflet before first use. Before use, shake the bottle vigorously and remove the protective cap. Before applying the drug, clean and unblock the nose by gently blowing it out. This will allow the preparation to reach the site of action better. 

Application Nasometin: plug one nostril, carefully insert the tip of the dispenser into the other. During application, the head should be slightly bent forward and the bottle should be held vertically! Press the dispenser with your fingers once, at the same time start a slow, gentle breath through your nose, then breathe out through your mouth. 

Repeat if two sprays are recommended for each nostril. Repeat the application in the second nostril. Do not apply the spray directly onto the nasal septum. The tip should always point to the side wall of the nose and the bottle should be kept upright. Incorrect spraying can damage the nasal septum. After use, wipe the applicator with a clean tissue, replace the protective cap.
