- Neosine Forte 1g is a medicinal product especially recommended for the treatment of viral infections of the skin and mucous membranes, e.g. herpes. The active substance contained in the drug is inosine pranobex in a dose of 1000mg in each tablet.
Composition NEOSINE Forte, treatment of viral infections:
The active substance: inosine pranobex (an inosine-containing complex and 4-hydroxypropyl dimethyl ammonium acetamidobenzoate in a molar ratio of 1: 3). One tablet contains 1000 mg of inosine in pranobex and auxiliary substances: wheat starch, mannitol, povidone 30, magnesium stearate.
Action:
Neosine Forte 1g is a dual-action medicine for which inosine is used, pranobex, that is, the active substance contained in the preparation. First of all, the drug works antiviral. Secondly, NEOSINE Forte stimulates the activity of the immune system, thus increasing the body's immunity.

Neosine Forte 1g recommended for use in skin and mucous membrane infections (herpes labialis virus (type I), genital herpes (type II) virus, chickenpox, shingles); with other viral infections (eg subacute sclerosing encephalitis, which is a complication of measles). Also indicated for supportive use in immunocompromised patients with recurrent upper respiratory tract infections.

Keep the product NEOSINE Forte out of reach of children at room temperature. It may affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. The product contains wheat starch, it can not be used for allergy to wheat, but it can be used by people with celiac disease.
Contraindications:
Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in children under the age of 1. Do not use in the case of a current gout attack, as well as in the case of increased levels of uric acid in the blood. It is not recommended for women during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Side effects

The recommended dose for children over 1 year of age: 50mg per kg of body weight per day, administered in several divided doses. For young children, it is recommended to use Neosine Forte in the form of a syrup. Duration of treatment: if the doctor does not tell you how long to use the medicine, it is recommended to continue treatment for 5-14 days, but it should be taken 1-2 days after the symptoms have disappeared.
