Nerve pain, technically known as neuralgia, develops in the supply area of ​​the damaged nerves. In principle, any nerve in the body can cause neuralgic pain through irritation or damage. The damage can be caused mechanically by pressure, e.g. B. a herniated disc, caused by injuries or cuts (e.g. in a traffic accident or a cut). 

The damage can also result from nerve inflammation (neuritis), e.g. B. by infections with chickenpox viruses, which can cause shingles, or by Borrelia. Other causes can be metabolic disorders (e.g. diabetes) or malnutrition (especially a lack of vitamins and folic acid), or the nerve pain can occur after radiation.

Active Nerve pain, neuralgia, NEURALGIE-Gastreu R70 oral drops ingredients:

• Aconitum D4: Direct action on the trigeminal nerve (facial nerve) and sciatic nerve, burning, tearing pain caused by cold air or cold wind.
• Cedron D4: Neuralgic, spastic complaints with periodic recurrence, sudden shooting pains in the arms, shoulders, knees and balls of the feet, radiating pain from shingles disease.
• Colocynthis D6: pain in the peripheral nerves, spasmodic and paroxysmal pain, neuralgia of the face, neck and back.
• Kalmia D3: Neuralgic pains with numbness of different locations and of a pulling and tearing character.
• Verbascum D2: Pain in the head and chest, drawing pains and sharp stitches in the temple area, pain in the legs with numbness.

Recommended Nerve pain, neuralgia, NEURALGIE-Gastreu R70 oral drops dosage:

Adults and children over 12 years.
Unless otherwise prescribed, in acute conditions take 5 drops every half to full hour, up to 6 times a day. An application longer than 1 week should only be done after consultation with a homeopathically experienced therapist. In chronic forms, take 5 drops 1 to 3 times a day. If the symptoms improve, the frequency of application should be reduced. Duration of use: Homeopathic medicines should not be taken for long periods of time without medical advice.
