To measure glucose levels, capillary whole blood taken from a finger, palm or forearm is required, while to measure total cholesterol and uric acid levels - capillary whole blood taken from a finger or venous blood, arterial blood. Measurements are performed using electrochemical bio-sensor technology. A convenient feature is the built-in strip ejector, which guarantees hygiene and safety, as well as the Auto Strip Recognition function, i.e. automatic strip recognition - after coding the meter and inserting the strip, the device automatically switches to the appropriate measurement mode. The meter is also equipped with a function that signals an incorrectly inserted strip, an alarm for low battery and insufficient blood volume, and a clear display that makes it easier to read the results.
