- Antiseptic preparation for topical application in the oral cavity. Oraseptan aerosol contains up to three active substances. The drug works locally anesthetically, disinfecting, bactericidal, fungicidal and soothing pain.
Composition of Oraseptan aerosol:
The active substances of the drug: cetylpyridinium chloride, lidocaine hydrochloride, zinc gluconate. 1ml of aerosol contains: 2.9mg cetylpyridinium chloride, 1.96mg lidocaine hydrochloride, 25.6mg zinc gluconate (corresponding to 3.7mg zinc ions) and auxiliary substances: levomenthol, ethanol 96%, glycerol, sucralose (E 955), purified water .
A single spray dose contains 0.17ml of solution. In three doses (0.51ml solution) is contained: 1.5mg cetylpyridinium chloride, 1.0mg lidocaine hydrochloride and 13.065mg zinc gluconate (corresponding to 1.875mg of zinc ions).

The preparation works very quickly, after a minute after the application, its anesthetic effect is felt. The practical applicator ensures precise application in a painful place. The drug contains cetylpyridinium chloride, which disinfects and acts bactericidal, fungicidal and antiviral. In addition, lidocaine hydrochloride is locally anesthetized, thus reducing pain. Zinc gluconate supports the proper functioning of the immune system.
Application:
Oraseptan aerosol indicated for local use in inflammation of the mouth, in the case of gingivitis and in mouth ulcer mucosa infections (mouth sores, aphta), also caused by injuries caused by dental prostheses or orthodontic appliances. For use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The drug contains ethanol (less than 100mg per dose).
Contraindications:
Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug and other local anesthetics of the group of amides. Do not use in case of severe liver or kidney failure. Do not use in the case of methemoglobinemia and muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis). Do not use in children under 6 years of age. It is not recommended to be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Side effects:
may occur with some people during treatment. Uncommon: local skin reactions, such as erythema, pruritus, eczema, burning. Rare: severe skin reactions such as bladder or pimple eczema that may spread or be generalized; hives; hypersensitivity to sunlight; Headache; gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea); vomiting, metallic taste in the mouth; oral mucositis. Very rare: severity of pre-existing renal failure.
Dosage of Oraseptan aerosol:
Use as directed by your doctor or follow the instructions on the leaflet. Apply topically, spray on the surface of the oral mucosa. Use an hour before a meal or an hour after a meal. Adults: administer 3 doses every 1-2 hours. Do not use more than 8 times a day. Children over 6 years of age: take 3 doses every 2-3 hours. Do not use more than 6 times a day. Do not use it for more than 5 consecutive days without consulting your doctor.
