The coneflower comes from North America. It was considered a tried and tested household remedy by the Prairie Indians. At the end of the 19th century, a resourceful German became aware of the plant. He sold a brew of the plant as “Meyer’s Blood Purifier” – with great success.

The positive properties of sea buckthorn are due to its numerous valuable ingredients. For example, sea buckthorn contains more vitamin C than lemons. Sea buckthorn was originally native to Asia, from where the crop spread westwards to Europe. In Germany, sea buckthorn is therefore primarily found in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Brandenburg.
