Action:
OROFAR is a drug that contains two active substances. Benzoxonium chloride, cationic surfactant, has bactericidal and bacteriostatic properties. Its action mainly consists of organisms that cause oral and throat infections and are involved in plaque formation. This ingredient also fights fungi and viruses. Lidocaine is characterized by localized anesthesia and alleviation of pain. OROFAR is a tablet for suction.
Contraindications:
- Sensitization to the components of the drug
- Use in children under 4 years of age
Indications:
It is recommended to use the preparation for oral infections (eg gingivitis, infections and ulcers of the oral mucosa (aft)) as well as pharyngitis or laryngitis and infections. The doctor is also recommended as an auxiliary for angin.
Dosage:
Oral use, suction. It is recommended to take 1 table. Every 2-3 h; 1 table can be used for severe infections. In adults, the maximum daily dose is 10 tablets. Children over 4 years of age should not be given more than 6 tables / 24 hours.
