OSTEOCARE contains the recommended D3 form of vitamin D, known as choliccalciferol, which is the form of vitamin D that is produced by the sun's rays (UVB ultraviolet radiation) on cholesterol-containing molecules existing in the skin. D3 is the preferred form of vitamin D because it is the specific form that builds up in the human body and yet is even more effective than D2, which is found in some supplements.
OSTEOCARE also contains Zinc to help prevent permanent bone breakdown and help maintain healthy muscles and nerves.
