Characteristics
Dektac is a painkiller from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The medicine comes in the form of coated tablets and is used for mild to moderate pain, such as toothache, muscle pain, and menstrual pain.
The
active substance of the drug is dexketoprofen.
1 coated tablet contains 25 mg of dexketoprofen in the form of 36.90 mg of dexketoprofen with trometamol.
Excipients: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), glycerol distearate, tablet coating (Opadry Y-1-7000): hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol/ PEG 400.
Dosage
This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The medicine is administered orally. The dosage of Dectac depends on the type, severity and duration of pain. The recommended dosage for adults is 12.5 mg every 4 to 6 hours or 25 mg every 8 hours. The maximum daily dose is 75 mg. In case of acute pain, to speed up the effect, you can take the medicine 30 minutes before a meal (on an empty stomach).

Indications
