Cestal Cat chewable tablet is a preparation for the treatment of all significant intestinal parasite infections in cats.
Indications Parasitic infections cats, Cestal Cat Deworming:
Treatment of mixed tapeworm and roundworm infections in cats caused by the following parasites
- roundworms - Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina (mature and late immature forms)
- hookworms - Ancylostoma tubaeforme,
- tapeworms - Echinococcus multilocularis, Hydatigena (Taenia) taeniaeformis, Dipylidium caninum ( mature and immature forms), Joyeuxiella spp.

Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. Do not use in kittens under 6 weeks of age. Do not use simultaneously with products containing piperazine.
Use Parasitic infections cats, Cestal Cat Deworming
One tablet per 4 kg body weight (corresponding to the following amounts of active substances: praziquantel 5 mg/kg and pyrantel 20 mg/kg).
Body weight from at least 1 kg to a maximum of 2 kg - 1/2 tablet
Body weight over 2 kg to a maximum of 4 kg - 1 tablet
Body weight over 4 kg to a maximum of 6 kg - 1, 1/2 tablet
Body weight over 6 kg to maximum 8 kg - 2 tablets.
Administration and duration of treatment.
The chewable tablet should be administered directly into the cat's mouth or given in food (a piece of meat, sausage, etc.). In the case of roundworm infestations, especially in young animals, complete elimination cannot be expected, and the risk of disease in humans remains.
In a study of 30 cats, voluntary ingestion was recorded in 83% of cases.
No restriction of access to food is required either before or after administration of the product. To ensure administration of the correct dose, the animal's body weight should be determined as accurately as possible.
