  • 1750 mg of ribwort leaf fluid extract (4: 1); Extracting agent: water: sucrose 1: 1
  • 750 mg of spruce tip fluid extract (4: 1); Extracting agent: water: sucrose 1: 1
  • 50 mg Petasites e radice ferm 33c D3

Indication / application

  • The preparation is an anthroposophic medicine for coughs and bronchitis.
  • Areas of application according to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature.
  • This includes:
    • Harmonization of respiratory and mucus formation processes in catarrhal inflammatory diseases of the airways and to promote expectoration, e.g. B. bronchitis, pneumonia (bronchopneumonia), bronchial asthma.

dosage

  • Always use this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has discussed. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not
    sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed:
    • Infants and children under 6 years of age
      • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of syrup 3 to 4 times a day
    • Children from 6 years and adults
      • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) 3 times a day, in acute cases every 2 hours, 1 teaspoon (5 ml)

 

  • Duration of application
    • Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.
    • If there is no improvement within 2 - 5 days, a doctor should be consulted.
    • The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

 

  • If you use more than you should,
    • no negative consequences are to be expected with one-off 1 - 2 single doses too much.
    • If you have used significantly more and if you experience symptoms, please notify a doctor. In principle, the dosage recommendation should be adhered to.

 

  • If you forget to use it,
    • make up the application as soon as possible or wait until the usual time according to the prescribed dosage. Do not use a double dose.

 

  • If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

  • Take syrup (shake before use) in warm water.

Side effects

  • Like all medicines, this medicine can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.
  • After use, allergic reactions such as skin rash, hives (urticaria), swelling of the skin / mucous membranes (edema) and itching have been observed in rare cases.
  • If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects that are not specified.

Contraindications

  • The drug must not be used
    • if you are allergic to ribwort pollen.

    • A doctor should be consulted in the event of persistent symptoms, shortness of breath, fever or purulent sputum.
