Pronasal Control 0.05mg is a nasal spray containing mometasone furoate. It is an active substance belonging to the group of corticosteroids. The indications for use are symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis.
Composition of Pronasal Control 0.05mg:
Active ingredient: Mometasone furoate (Mometasoni furoas). Each dose of the drug (0.1 ml) contains 50 mcg of mometasone furoate (as mometasone furoate monohydrate) (total weight of one dose is 100 mg) and auxiliary substances: microcrystalline cellulose and sodium carmellose (Avicel RC-591), glycerol, benzalkonium chloride, solution, polysorbate 80, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, water for injections.
Action Pronasal Control 0.05mg:
Mometasone furoate is an active substance contained in the drug Pronasal Control 0.05 mg. Nasal spray suspension is indicated for the treatment of the symptoms of seasonal allergic mucositis. Mometasone furoate is a corticosteroid, when used intranasally, it relieves symptoms of rhinitis such as swelling, irritation, sneezing, itching, nasal congestion and also reduces the amount of nasal discharge.

Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against the effects of moisture and light. You should discuss the possibility of using the drug with your doctor if you have or have had tuberculosis, any other infection, cystic fibrosis, injection of corticosteroids or by mouth. A doctor should be consulted if the immune system is not functioning properly, the person has been in contact with a person suffering from measles or chickenpox.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in the case of an untreated infection of the nasal mucosa. Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug. An immediate hypersensitivity reaction (these may be severe) may occur after application of the drug. Stop taking the medicine immediately and consult your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms: swollen face, tongue or throat, difficulty swallowing, hives, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Long-term intranasal corticosteroids may cause side effects due to the drug being absorbed into the body. Pronasal Control 0.05mg nasal spray dosage:
Use as directed by your doctor or according to the directions on the leaflet. It is recommended to apply two doses of the spray into each nostril. Use once a day. The symptom-relieving effect occurs at the earliest 12 hours after taking the first dose. The drug is recommended to be used until the full benefit of treatment is obtained.
