Protrivagin 6 vaginal capsules

Protrivagin is a medicinal product containing lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum P 17630 for use, among others, in vaginal bacterial flora disorders.

Indications

Protrivagin is indicated for use in adult women for: preventing recurrence of vaginal infections by restoring and maintaining the optimal amount of lactic acid bacteria in the vagina, restoring physiological vaginal flora after antibiotic therapy for bacterial vaginosis. If after a short period there is no improvement or the patient feels worse, contact your doctor.

Use

This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient leaflet or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose for adult women is: 1 vaginal capsule per day for 6 consecutive days.
In order to prevent recurrence of vaginal infections, it is recommended to use, after initial treatment, one capsule per week for at least 4 weeks. Another option is 1 cycle of using one capsule per day for 6 consecutive days once a month for 3 months.
Insert the capsule deep into the vagina, lying on your back, in the evening before going to bed.
